Martin Smolek - chair

JUDr. Martin Smolek, Ph.D. graduated from the Faculty of Law of Charles University in Prague (1996 – 2000), graduated from Humboldt University in Berlin (2000 – 2001) as well as the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic (2002 – 2004).

He is a Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs. Since June 2015 he has been managing the Legal and Consular Section. Since 2008, he has also held the position of a government representative for representing the Czech Republic before the Court of Justice of the European Union.
